BOYZ N THE HOOD

Edgy, gritty and violent debut with a bang behind the camera at the time 23 year old angry director John Singleton, who unceremoniously slams us face it without hope and life every day of the infamous black ghetto of South Central Los Angeles, taking us on a guided tour and upsetting between drugs, shootings and even racism as Spike Lee had never dared to do. It is in this jungle where it seems there is no other way out, if you do not abide by the laws of the road and crime, that will intertwine the stories of Tre (Cuba Gooding jr., Excellent), and the brothers Doughboy (Ice Cube, perfect) and Ricky (Chestnut). The first, thanks to the leadership and teachings of the father / mentor always present (Fishburne) will learn respect, responsibilities that lead to become man and to stay away from street life. The second, gangster / drug dealer violent but of good heart who sees his true figure Three fraternal, spends his days between the prison and the porch of the house along with his gang of layabouts ready to challenge the gun whenever it presents' occasion. And the third, best friend Three and repugnant to his brother, is a smart guy and insecure, father early, with a bright future before the eyes but totally undecided about which path to take in life. And as usual, between shots of gunfire at night, fights between gangs and helicopters constantly flying over the area, the tragedy will be around the corner ... A film simply wonderful, suffered and moving from the first to the last frame. A work that makes you think, both in terms of sociological and moral, truthful in representing America nineties in all its facets (just before Rodney King riots in Los Angeles), and a strong visual impact and cultural. Also excellent technical side, from a bad direction and courageous and a powerful script (both earned Singleton Academy Award nomination).

Masterpiece, the best movie about life in the ghetto and one of the most important works of the nineties. Dialogue and fraternal embrace finals are sensational, only glimmers of hope of a film that is difficult to be indifferent.

STATE AS SOCIAL INSTITUTION

In common language when it comes to institution it refers to organizations that include people and rules for their conduct or supra-individual as the state, the church, etc.
In sociology, on the contrary, the term institution are templates regulators ie a system of rules imposed by society to the social life of individuals (language, family etc.).
The fundamental characteristic institution is above the estrinsecità, that the institutions are perceived by individuals as external realities. In this respect, it is the work of Durkheim on externals of social facts that are necessary to individuals regardless of their will.
David Emile Durkheim was a French sociologist, social psychologist and philosopher born in France the 15 April 1858 and died November 15, 1917.
He formally established the academic disciplines and with Karl Marx and Max Weber is commonly cited as the principal architect of modern social science and father of sociology
A second aspect is the objectivity: the institutions are experienced by individuals as objective, ie there is a set of rules and correct conduct that characterize the institution, such as a person is correct and incorrect.
A third point is the first resulting from the coercive power of an institution, which means that the violation of the rules of an institution always generates a reaction, that the sanction. Breaking a rule of language could lead to different degrees of punishment: a bad grade at an exam to a moral condemnation within a group of people.
A fourth aspect is the dynamism of the institutions: the set of rules and standards founding an institution is not frozen in time, it is continuously retracted and modified through social practices. So, for example, the language of our grandparents is different from the present-day text messages.
Another key feature of the institution is the tendency to the legitimacy (what Durkheim called moral authority) since the establishment does not require the individual only for the simple fact that through the penalty is seen as a duty, but also because It is experienced by the individual as desirable (the social fact of Durkheim that can be summarized in the formula of "I have" both in the sense of duty and in the sense of desirability).
A final aspect that characterizes the institution is its historicity, which has a history through which it is possible to retrace the changes and deal with comparative analyzes.

The task of the institution policy is the social control, in most cases, companies assign to the State organ function attendant to social control.
Despite every society as primitive, he has known forms of social control, to state means '' Modern Society '', which is the permanent residence of a people in a territory and the consequent development of a government.
From the sociological point of view the state has two major social functions:
- The imposition of standards: the State has the social task of transforming social norms into laws, trying to ensure the correct observance of the rules and laws.
- Programming and direction: the state program and coordinates both public life relations.
The state's economy is engaged in production, distribution and consumption of resources.
Example's of economy based systems are hunting, gathering, farming, agriculture and livelihoods. Still the dominant economic model is the capitalist economy and industry.
The state also acts sociocultural providing the individual the possibility to be able to integrate into a society.

Family institution plays a very important role in giving stability to society.
As family is a primary social institution of a society, existence of every social institution is depends on the functions carried out by that social institution.
Children have to go to school for formal education but informal education is given by family institute.
The family gives information about culture and helps to balanced personality development. Family carries out social regulations by developing personality.
In traditional as well as modern society this functions are of family institution.

The sociology of the family is the study of the family from a sociological point of view. Most studies focus on the social development of the family, starting from analyzing social classes, genres and ethnic groups affected by the phenomenon.

The indicators used are the number of children in the family, their age, the ethnic backgrounds of the components, the level and economic mobility of the family unit, the educational level; they allow to study the interactions between the family and the culture and society, and between them and the family.

The sociology of the family also studied the differences in the various forms of the family in contemporary society in relation to ideology, to gender differences and to state policies regarding the institution of marriage.

From a sociological perspective, the family is that specific social relationship that binds the couple to their children, that intersects the relations between the sexes with the relations between the generations. Although these relationships of vital world, bordering a private sphere, the family has important functions for the company, and therefore has a public value. Familial forms have historically been highly variable, however, no society has ever been able to destroy the family. When he tried to do it, that society has disappeared, or had to give back space to the family. The fundamental reason is that the family is a social structure, some speak of a social genome of the family who has the task of humanizing the people by implementing the transition from nature to culture

Here, we com to know that family is a major social institution of society.
